About the event
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is an increasingly important tool in gastroenterology, but it takes time and structure to learn well. This national Basic EUS Course offers GI trainees and gastroenterologists a reliable and well-structured starting point for learning EUS. The course follows a clear learning pathway that combines theory and practice.
The e-learning
Before the 2-day on-site course, you complete an online e-learning module. This ensures a shared baseline of knowledge and allows the course days to focus on understanding, integration, and hands-on practice; applying what you have learned. The e-learning covers EUS equipment and basic ultrasound principles, explains normal EUS anatomy, and teaches how to systematically find key anatomical landmarks of the bile ducts, pancreas, and mediastinum.
